We do not provide direct insurance submission, however, all the items needed for you to seek reimbursement based on your own individual policy can be provided upon request. This allows for much more time to be spent with Dr.Beck. Most of today’s complex, chronic medical issues cannot be addressed in a rushed 10-minute visit. More time with your physician will ensure higher quality care and inevitably, better health outcomes. TIME matters! We also choose to forgo insurance payments in order to save our patients from the arbitrary, intrusive decisions that inevitably follow third-party payers. Furthermore, this direct fee-for-service arrangement frees us from the typical contractual agreements that prevent physicians from offering wholesale prices on lab tests, imaging studies, and medications.

Most insurance carriers may fully or partially cover medical services and laboratory tests performed by Dr. Beck. Payment in full by credit card is due prior to any requisition of laboratory services and at the time any consultation services are provided. Dr. Beck does not accept or handle Medicare coverage under any circumstances.

Absolutely not! Though most of our patients are located in the USA, many of Dr. Beck’s patients live outside the United States, so he has adapted his practice to work with patients wherever they may be. There are a variety of methods that you can choose to consult by way of virtual office visits. These include: Skype, Google HangOut, Conference Call, FaceTime. You may choose which ever is best for you.
Some testing can be done through conventional laboratories and others are only available through specialty laboratories. During your consultation, Dr. Beck will determine which tests are needed and then our office assistants can review the testing recommendations, the instructions (e.g. fasting or non-fasting, etc.) and costs. Some testing can be performed at home with test kits to collect urine, saliva or stool samples. Others may require you to go to a local laboratory to draw the blood. In those instances, we can provide you with an order that you can take to a facility near your home. In all cases, we will assist you in coordinating initial and follow-up testing.
Although, Dr. Beck will be able to handle most all of your primary care needs if you are able to visit one of his offices in person, his consultation services via virtual office visits will be limited to that of consultation only. He does require that you maintain with a primary care doctor or specialist for routine screening exams such as physical exams, pap smears, colonoscopies, prostate exams, etc. and for emergency situations requiring immediate care or hospitalization.
Medical records can only be released with your authorization. It is your responsibility to obtain previous medical records from other physicians, or health care providers that you wish for our providers to review. If you feel your medical records are pertinent to your appointment with our providers, please contact your physician or other health care provider to obtain these records and make sure that we have received them at least 14 days prior to your initial appointment. Your medical records can be mailed to
